To help you plan your day out at the Newark Festive Gift Show, we have compiled a list of our most frequently asked visitor questions.

COVID-19 FAQS


Why have you changed the dates of the 2020 show?
In light of the recent Government annoucements regarding the COVID-19 Tier System, we have postponed the Newark Festive Gift Show to new dates after the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak. For more information, please click here.

What were the original dates, and what are the new dates?
The show was originally set to take place on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2020. The Newark Festive Gift & Food Show will now be running on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October 2021.

I already have tickets for the 2020 show – can I use these at the 2021 show?
Yes, absolutely! All tickets for our 2020 show are valid for the 2021 dates. Just print your tickets off and bring them with you as normal.

Can I speak to someone about my ticket booking?
If you have problems with your tickets or are unable to make the new dates, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912 or email support@yourticketbooking.com.

 

GENERAL FAQS


CAN I BOOK TICKETS OVER THE PHONE?

Yes, the number to call is 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm excluding Bank Holidays. Calls are charged at 7p per minute plus any network charges from your supplier.

CAN TICKETS ONLY BE USED ON THE DAY SELECTED?

Yes, tickets must be booked for the day and time slot you plan to attend the show and can only be used on the day you have booked for (Sunday tickets cannot be used on Saturday, for example). If you are unable to print the tickets, we do also accept viewing on smartphones.

Can I speak to someone about my ticket booking?

If you have problems with your tickets or the ticket booking process, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912 or email support@yourticketbooking.com.

I CAN’T FIND MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL

If you’ve deleted your email confirmation or just can’t find it you can have it resent to the original email address used. Click here and go to the bottom of the page and click on resend my email, follow the instructions to have your email resent.

Is there an additional charge for parking?

No, parking at the Newark Showground is free for visitors. There are plenty of car parking spaces available, some hard-standing and the remainder on grass.

How far is the car park from the show entrance?

The main car park is around five minutes walk to the Main Exhibition Hall entrance.

Is the show accessible for wheelchairs?

Yes, the show is on flat ground so is accessible for wheelchair users. 

Is Blue Badge Parking available?

Yes. The spaces are as close as possible to the entrance at the show. Please ask staff on arrival and they will direct you to these spaces.

Do you have a concession for carers?

Yes, we offer free entry for carers. You will need to book tickets for everyone else in your group but the carer/s will receive complimentary entry. Just let the team on the gate know and they will arrange entry.
 

Are dogs allowed in the grounds?

Dogs on leads are allowed in the extensive parkland around the Showground, but not in the Main Exhibition Halls. This is for health and safety reasons as the event can get quite busy at times. Guide dogs for the blind or for the hard of hearing are, however, welcome in all areas. Please respect our surroundings and pick up any waste after your dog and dispose of it in the dog litter bins that are situated in various places around the park.

CAN I ENTER THE SHOW MORE THAN ONCE DURING MY VISIT?

Yes, we will issue hand stamps for anyone wishing to return throughout the day of their visit.

I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND. CAN I GET A REFUND?

Tickets are non-refundable.

IS THERE A CASH POINT AT THE SHOWGROUND?

No, there is no cash point available at the Newark Showground. The nearest cash point is approximately a two minute drive away at the petrol station near the Friendly Farmer services (A1/A47 roundabout).

Please Note: There are no live children’s characters/actors or entertainment at our 2020 show.

Failure of any of these to please cannot be held as a reason for refund.
