    To help you plan your day out at the Newark Festive Gift Show, we have compiled a list of our most frequently asked visitor questions.

    When does the Newark Festive Gift Show take place and what are the opening times?
    The Newark Festive Gift Show takes place Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October 2024. The show will be open from 9.30am – 4pm on both days.

    What’s the full address?
    The event takes place at the Newark Showground. The venue’s address is: Newark Showground, Lincoln Road, Coddington, Newark, NG24 2NY.

    Can I bring a Buggy or Pram?
    Buggies and Prams are welcome in the Main Show Building during our quieter periods from 1.30pm onwards. Before this time, please use the FREE Buggy Park at the entrance to the Main Show Building. Buggies and prams are permitted in the outdoor areas at all times.

    Can tickets only be used on the day selected?
    If you have booked Standard or Afternoon Tickets, these must be booked for the day you plan to attend the show and can only be used on the day and entry time slot you have booked for (Sunday tickets cannot be used on Saturday, for example). If you are unable to print your tickets, we do also accept viewings on smartphones.

    Do the time slot entry tickets mean we’re limited to how long we can stay at the event?
    No, your time slot entry tickets are for your arrival time to the show only. You can stay at the event for as long as you like. The event closes at 4pm on both days.

    What are the new ‘Premium Plus’ and Premium’ tickets?
    This year, you will be able to book Premium Plus and Premium tickets to give you exclusive early access to the Newark Festive Gift & Food Show 2024 for limited shopping between 9.30am. These tickets are strictly limited to offer a pleasurable shopping experience. You do not need to select which day you would like to attend. Premium tickets will give you one-day entry on either Saturday or Sunday. Premium Plus tickets will give you entry for BOTH days on Saturday and Sunday. Find out more here.

    What are Afternoon tickets?
    Due to popular request, we have introduced ‘Afternoon Tickets’ for the Newark Festive Gift & Food Show 2024. These special discounted tickets will give you access to the Newark Festive Gift & Food Show during the event’s quietest periods for those who may still feel vulnerable or would like to attend during the quiet time. Entry is from 1.30pm onwards.

    Can I book my tickets online?
    Tickets can be booked in advance on our website by clicking here. For the safety and comfort of everyone attending this year’s event, we are limiting the tickets available, so we would strongly advise booking online to guarantee entry to the show on your day of choice. We are hoping to have a small amount of tickets available on the gate, however these will be subject to availability. For full ticket prices click here.

    Can I book tickets over the phone?
    Yes, the number to call is 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 3pm excluding Bank Holidays. The cost to call 0333 numbers is the same as calling a normal local or national landline. If your tariff or call package offers free or inclusive calls to landlines, numbers starting with 03 will normally be included free of charge.

    I’m having trouble booking tickets – what should I do?
    If you have problems with your tickets or the ticket booking process, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912 or email support@yourticketbooking.com.

    I can’t find my confirmation email – how do I get it resent?
    If you’ve deleted your email confirmation or just can’t find it you can have it resent to the original email address used. Please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you by emailing support@yourticketbooking.com.

    Is there an additional charge for parking?
    No, parking at the Newark Showground is free for visitors. There are plenty of car parking spaces available, some hard-standing and the remainder on grass.

    How far is the car park from the show entrance?
    The main car park is around five minutes walk to the Main Exhibition Hall entrance.

    Is the show accessible for wheelchairs?
    Yes, the outside of the show is on flat ground and the Main Exhibition Hall is completely on one level with no steps and has assisted wheelchair access.

    Is Blue Badge Parking available?
    Yes. The spaces are as close as possible to the entrance at the show. Please ask staff on arrival and they will direct you to these spaces.

    Are there disabled toilet facilities?
    Yes, there are disabled toilets in the main show building.

    Do you have a concession for carers?
    Yes, we offer free entry for carers. You will need to book tickets for everyone else in your group but the carer/s will receive complimentary entry. Just let the team on the gate know and they will arrange entry.

    Are dogs allowed in the grounds?
    Dogs on leads are allowed in the extensive parkland around the Showground, but not in the Main Exhibition Halls. This is for health and safety reasons as the event can get quite busy at times. Assistance dogs, Guide dogs for the blind or for the hard of hearing are, however, welcome in all areas. Please respect our surroundings and pick up any waste after your dog and dispose of it in the dog litter bins that are situated in various places around the park.

    Can I enter the show more than once during my visit?
    Yes, we will issue hand stamps for anyone wishing to return throughout the day of their visit.

    Is there a cash point at the Showground?
    No, there is no cash point available at the Newark Showground. The nearest cash point is approximately a two minute drive away at the petrol station near the Friendly Farmer services (A1/A47 roundabout).

    I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
    We’re sorry that you are no longer able to join us but unfortunately all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

    Please Note: There are no live children’s characters/actors or entertainment at our 2024 show.

Failure of any of these to please cannot be held as a reason for refund.
